Our teachers come from diverse professional fields in Japan. We offer flexibility: teach one seminar or multiple seminars, teach on weekends or weekday evenings. We also offer a promotional and networking opportunity for freelance professionals seeking new clients.
Requirements: strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, able to teach in English
Compensation: freelance, in line with university teaching rates
Workers University is a community movement and we rely on social influencers to promote our cause. Ambassadors are our top advocates who leverage the power of their social networks to bring in top speakers and curious minds. Ambassadors also have strategic input into the future direction of WU.
Requirements: strong support for our goals, well developed social network, able to commit for at least one year
Compensation: unpaid, but includes free attendance at events
This is an internship position for a current university student who would like to experience working in an educational startup. Our Community Managers ensure the smooth running of events and help out with occasional promotional duties. Internships typically last three months.
Requirements: fluent Japanese and conversational English, available five hours a week on Saturdays
Compensation: reasonable expenses plus free attendance at events
